LSU got a commitment from a top 40 2022 recruit, how does that pear-shaped loser still have a job??

Gurley has played good competition before and looked really good, no worries at all about him from me. He got 15 points vs us, 21 points vs Auburn, 19 points vs USF, he is gonna be really good for us.

Really glad to hear the positive practice reports about Bediako, but not surprised. I have been higher on him than most Bama fans I know.

The IARP thing has apparently been a slow, inefficient disaster, and his employer has absolutely no shame whatsoever.

Surely he wont still have a job at LSU when the 2022 class enrolls. I didn't think he would still have a job there in 2021 either though and was wrong.

That’s because Bruner ran down the court like an uncoordinated giraffe

Bruner has had at least 4 knee injuries, 3 in the last few years, I assumed thats why he looked so weird running but idk, he had the weirdest stride I have probably ever seen on a bball court. He was a beast when healthy though, very high basketball IQ.

Five-star small forward and Alabama legacy Brandon Miller took his official visit to Tuscaloosa this week, his second to last trip of the month before visiting Kentucky on June 26.

“It was good,” Miller told BamaOnLine. “The coaching staff was good, the players were good, we watched a lot of film, and I see how they would play me.”

Miller spent time with Tide players like JD Davison, Jahvon Quinerly, and Noah Gurley.

The Antioch (Tenn.) Cane Ridge product enjoyed speaking with the coaching staff in person after having kept in frequent contact prior to the visit.

“Me Coach Bryan (Hodgson) and Coach (Nate) Oats talk probably every week,” he said. “They want to use me as a 6-8 guard.”

It’s the relationship Miller has with the staff that intrigues him with UA.

“Really just the bond with the coaches,” he said of why the Tide is in play. “I feel like it’s a good bond.”

Not to mention, Miller likes the way UA plays.

“That they move the ball, they shoot shots that I shoot, and they play with pace and speed,” he said of what interests him about the program’s play style.

As noted above, Miller’s dad, Darrell, played for the Alabama football team, but that connection isn’t factoring into his son’s recruitment.

“He’s behind me wherever I want to choose,” Miller said.

Next up for Miller following the UK visit is whittling down his list.

“I’m planning on dropping a top eight in August maybe,” he said.

Miller says he has no favorites at this point.

“None are really standing out,” he said, adding he does like Alabama, though.

Miller is rated the No. 4 small forward and the No. 9 overall player in the country, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Not as official looking as Surge but here is what Brandon Miller said about his visit

Wade may be there in 2025 and beyond. The IARP is just a dumping ground for the NCAA for cases that they do not want to deal with. The official excuse by the IARP is they need to re-investigate all these cases, which will take years. How long does it take to listen to FBI tape of "big arse offers"? Aside from his personal ties to LSU, Emmert is committed to doing nothing about this cheating and NIL in hopes that Congress will bail him out with some laws. That effort on NIL just failed, so we'll see. But that IARP has done zero, and no action is on the horizon. Have they even met? Meanwhile we admitted everything about the Kobe Baker deal and are serving 3 years probation. Life is not fair. Wades and Pearls sometimes win.

This article from April says that everything should have everything completed within a year.

Although still vague and potentially months away, the NCAA on Tuesday provided an updated timeline for rulings in the six infractions cases currently being reviewed by the Independent Accountability Resolution Process.

In a news release, the NCAA revealed that decisions in all six cases, including the one tied to the University of Kansas men’s basketball program, are expected in the next 12 months.
Memphis, North Carolina State, Arizona, LSU and Louisville also are having infractions cases reviewed by the newly formed IARP, which was created specifically to handle complex cases related to the recent FBI investigation into corruption in college basketball recruiting.

No joke. And where is Auburn in this process? I know they self imposed a year ban from the tournament for last year when they were not going to make it anyway, but they violated their own self - imposed recruiting ban for on campus visits by having Sharif Cooper's whole high school team in for a visit year before last - caught on film. They refuseed all public inquiry requests from the media for the NOA, which they are not supposed to be able to do legally, so what gives with Auburn?
