Looks like Allen hit a growth spurt (unless we're fudging his height like we did with Stevenson... lol).

Idk if people are gonna believe this but TBB is gonna be an upgrade over Grant.

I believe it. Grant was an excellent player for us, but he never reached his ceiling. TBB has an even higher ceiling more than likely. Shot a higher percentage and has longer arms.

I believe it.

TBB has crazy potential! He's been working on his handle and his shot so I'm excited to see how it all comes together.

Bristow may surprise us too. He looked really good at team camp practice week before last. So did Hannah, a tough player.

Grant was interesting, because he was kinda the opposite of what we were told. I remember hearing how he was a point guard type who could shoot 3s well but played mediocre defense. But his defense ended up being one of his just valuable tools, and that 3 ball was bad (except somehow in clutch situations).

TBB is going to be very fun to watch. I expect more off ball than Grant, but nobody is gonna give him space and dare TBB to shoot 3s. He's already hit them at a high rate in high major, and on a terrible team. I think he's going to get a lot of open looks if we can have strong ball rotation.

Glad we get UK and Arkansas at home. Maybe we can finally beat UT for the first time in forever.

Had we played Oklahoma at home, I know Reid would’ve been loudly booed. I’m curious if Dioubate will get applause or booed assuming he starts.

Reid came in and it felt like he underachieved. Obviously injuries played a factor. Mo came in and exceed expectations. I don't think you'd get the same reaction. You'll get more cheers than boos for Mo, but I expect some boos.

How long has it been since we played Auburn Tennessee, Arkansas, Kentucky at home in the same year?
eta: 2015-16 season if we don't count covid year.

Rumor was Reid could’ve played. His Mama told him not to. Amazing once the postseason started he was able to go.

Fake rumor. He came back against Auburn and reinjured his hamstring.

He missed the first game of the SEC tourney.

The rumor in question if I recall correctly is that Reid's momma never wanted him at Bama and had him say he was still too injured to play even after he recovered so he wouldn't risk further injury before he hit the portal. How would that being true make Oats a liar?
