Yeah that's not the kind of field you want to see in an early season tournament when you're breaking in a lot of new players.

Belmont is going to be really good next year imo.

The field looks pretty tough, but I like it. I think we will look a bit better earlier in the season than we did last year.

In addition to the Orlando event, UA will also face Houston in the upcoming season. The game will be played in Tuscaloosa, Ala., after the Cougars had to cancel their trip in December.

OOC is looking like it'll be brutal. But given our roster situation, regardless of what Primo does, this is probably as good a year as any to make a schedule like that.

belmont shared the ball as well as anyone last year. wouldnt surprise me if they make the tourney as they usually do. their pg can really pass. on defense though i see us dropping a 100 on them. as for kansas, i just cant wait to bitch smack them (man it felt good to actually get to say that).

I'm about tired of failing all the tests in the non-conference

They literally return their entire roster (or at least 100% of minutes played), I think.

Auburn needs to figure out PG play and role allocation, but the Tigers' depth and talent base is undeniable.

Bruce Pearl looks like he has the best team in the SEC entering next season

Rothstein is an Auburn shill.

A few mocks that have came out the last couple of days and none have Primo going in the first round.

NBC

elite sports

CBS

I have only seen him get drafted in the first round of one mock so far and that was at 25.

Auburn should be good but I for sure wouldn't rank them the best in the SEC, I would put them 3rd at the highest, probably 5th. Not too impressed by the additions of Wendell Green and Desi Sills. I do like Kessler, Jabari Smith, and KD Johnson.

Georgia really lost their top two players to other SEC teams, now that is tough.

Crean must either be an absolute nightmare of a coach or just doesn't give a shite anymore. It's understandable that they'd lose some guys because they suck and no one wants to lose, but the entire starting lineup? That's not normal. Especially considering he recruited pretty much all of them.

Alabama basketball signee JD Davison works out with 'Lethal Shooter' during offseason

quote:

Alabama basketball signee JD Davison has spent time working with shooting coach Chris Matthews, known as "Lethal Shooter" on social media.

Matthews is a former professional basketball player who spent time overseas before becoming one of the top shooting coaches in the country. He has worked with Anthony Davis, Dwight Howard and other NBA players.

Milwaukee Bucks power forward Bobby Portis saw an 11.3% jump from the previous season and shot 47.1 % from the 3-point line in 2020-21 after hiring Matthews last offseason.

Sacramento Kings center Hassan Whiteside saw similar results when his free throw percentage jumped from 44.9% to 68.6% in 2019-20.

Davison is ranked the No. 9 overall prospect in the 2021 class according to 247 Sports' composite rankings and averaged 32.4 points per game in his senior year at Calhoun High School.

Davison is the highest-rated recruit to sign with Alabama since Collin Sexton in 2017 and the highest-rated player in the state of Alabama since Demarcus Cousins in 2009.

My bet is this. When he first came to UGA he was talking openly to the media about how awful the players were and how none of them should be playing there, but they’re all he has.
