Probably just precautionary, no need to hurt someone anymore for a meaningless exhibition game. Plus it gives oats more game time to evaluate his end of the bench players.

If he can’t perform at a relatively high level, they are going to be really reliant on a freshman guard to lead the offense.

Arizona State didn't look better than the team Duke played in the first exhibition game. They are in for a long season.

Single game seats went on sale this morning but they’re only available for the Kent State, South Dakota State, and Oklahoma games. Pretty cool to have that kind of demand for seats but sucks for those that didn’t buy season tickets.
