I'd bet my life savings on him being a one and done.

Yeah, Sharife Cooper is a first round lock - with an outside shot as a lottery pick - after playing 12 games and is two inches shorter. I'd be very surprised id JD isn't a one and done lottery pick.

Ven-Allen Lubin is listed at No. 123 in the current Rivals150 2022 rankings. This makes the Orlando Christian Prep junior the No. 34 rated small forward in his class.

Lubin, who is a strong bodied, long armed, 6-foot-7 high motor player has caught the attention of college coaches as well.

“I have about seven or eight offers, but I would say I hear from Florida, USF and Alabama the most right now,” Lubin said.

IN HIS OWN WORDS

USF: “I am hearing a lot from head coach Brian Gregory. They can play fast, but they play mainly in the half court. I like how they play both sides of the floor, I feel like I could fit in well there, you know, maintain who I am and be a good floor facilitator.”

Florida: “They are telling me how good their program is and the direction they are heading. They tell me they can see me playing with their guards, and their bigs and I can see myself doing that. I feel I can be in a position there to make some plays.”

Alabama: “The program there is good, you know, from watching a lot of their games I saw their guards are pretty quick and they make good plays. And also they had some bigs who showed they could step up and make plays. I feel they are a school I can see myself stepping in and making plays for myself and teammates.”

“I am also hearing a lot from UCF, Oklahoma State, Miami, Dayton and Virginia, but they have not offered me yet.”

WHAT'S NEXT?

“I am looking at the programs and having good teammates. You know, on the floor we are able to stay together, stay poised, don’t let distractions throw us off. I always want to find a program where we can share the ball.” Lubin said, “I don’t have a time frame right now, I am going to play AAU here, focus on that, and then see what happens.”

Oats is going to be able to cherry pick players if we go to the final 4 this year.

So tired of the ongoing stench in Red Stick. They are just carrying on with business as usual. Skrong arse offer? Sure, how skrong you need? Football player wants a piece of arse? Just go assault some co-ed, nothing's gonna happen.

WHEN IS SOMETHING GONNA HAPPEN??!!

My taking from all that is that they don’t know who to pin it on, so they are stalling.

I'm not too impressed with Auburn's guards so far. Their front court is loaded, especially if Thor comes back.

True, but it's hard to bet against Pearl's ability to assemble a roster and maximize their potential. Last year seemed like more of an anomaly for them under him due to inexperience + a plethora of games missed by both starting guards.

They'll be a dangerous team next year IMO. I wonder how much tickets will be to both games.

I would think so. I put a deposit in for next year’s tickets so hopefully there’s not enough demand to where I won’t get them

It'll be interesting to see if it dies down over the next couple of years once the NCAA makes the one time waiver permanent and there's no "now or never" factor attached to transferring.

My hunch is that it won't, and over the next 3-5 years we're going to see the near eradication of parity in the men's game to mirror the women's game. Then the flood of "was this a mistake?" articles will start being published by the very same dipshits who have been screaming oppression and athlete empowerment for the last several years.
