Naas Cunningham…who was the top rated player in the class so clearly has the potential. Next year could be a really great year if we play the portal/retention game right

We missed on some guys but NIL wasn't the reason. Jase Richardsons dad went to michigan state where he committed, Asa Newells brother is a walk on at Georgia which made them the favorite.
I thought the fan theorys about us not having NIL for basketball were put to rest after Arkansas tried to outbid us for Grant Nelson and couldn't but I guess not.
I think every time any school misses on a recruit some of their fans claim it was NIL related.

Remember who said we were getting Derrion Reid the whole time while a lot Bama posters were spreading false rumors about his mom hating Oats and/or us not having any enough NIl money to get him.

Yeah we remember who started the his mom didn't like Oats rumor. It's been said for the last month or so that Alabama is possibly his destination. It was Bama3714. In his defense tho that was the word going around on other sites. We will never know but just be glad he picked Bama in the end

Bama basketball is in good hands! We won’t meet expectations every year, but competing with the best teams in the country and having our name in the mix every year is special for us 20+ year fans!
