JD and Ellis had pretty bad offensive nights. Needed one of them to step up and make some shots.

This is what’s frustrating with JQ. Some games he has that dog in him and no one can defend him. Other games he goes in a shell and is a liability

They’re good, but I’d bet my 401k they won’t win it all. Their best wins are @Bama, vs Kentucky, and vs Bama. A shite mizzou team took them to the wire. They’ll lose one or two more in the conference, then bow out in in the sweet 16. It’s difficult to stay in a game when you’re getting doubles up in foul calls. By no means why we lost tonight, but the calls were clearly one sided in the first half. That doesn’t happen in the tournament when the amateur refs aren’t influenced by the crowd

Miles

I like what I see mostly from Miles and I think he has the potential to be a good two way player. Needs some more experience to be consistent

I’d never advocate betting your retirement but I’d piggyback off of that too. It’s hard to win it all.

He was brick city from the start and got us off to a slow start with his missed wide open 3s

Yea, I think Auburn is the most complete team in the country, but winning the NCAA Tournament is a crapshoot. Auburn has some tendencies that could definitely lead to a shaky night if they scuffle. They've got as good a shot as anybody, but they aren't head and shoulders good enough where you'd look at them as some sort of 50/50 bet or something.

Still, as good of odds as anybody else, which is a helluva accomplishment.

Yep - he had 2-3 wide open looks that would have been huge. Just a bad game.

Kentucky has Brooks and Tchiebwe. So I think they can play with AU but Brooks and Tchiebwe aren’t as skilled as Jabari and Kessler

So LSU has kind of fallen apart, hu?

Their offense borders on historically bad. Like, just as bad as their defense was last year.

They take some really bad deep shots that they don’t have to take. They can set up in the half court with smith and Kessler and get some really good looks. If they cut down on those bonehead shots and stop letting teams get back in games then they will be even tougher

Kentucky's center is a different type of sandwich. He's a bad man rebounding the basketball.

His game is definitely opposite of how we play down low. Going to have to get him in foul trouble with drives to the rim

He had a rough night, but his game is getting to the rim and we had no shot to attack the rim with Kessler in the game.
