I’m excited but nervous for this game tonight. We’re 16.5 point favorites rn but I’m not feeling to great about covering lol. Think it’s an 8-10 point game most of the 2nd half and we win by like 13.

If we have back to back flat, sloppy performances against the kind of mid-majors we should be blasting it'll be a little concerning. Typically under Oats we haven't followed up one half-assed performance with another, so hopefully we take care of business tonight and get Barnes some more minutes.

Need at least one or two of Keon/JQ/Shack (hell, maybe throw Gurley in too actually) to stand up in the room and get everybody focused and on the same page with what it takes to be a great team night in/night out and what the expectations are as individuals and as a team. Coaches can really only do so much when it comes to that stuff. The great teams always have that extra factor holding everyone accountable and leading by example. We lost a ton of that when Herb left, hopefully someone decides to accept that responsibility.

I think we played a preseason NIT game in Coleman against Memphis with a tip time that late but it’s the only other one I can remember.

I grabbed it at 15 this morning, so maybe we should feel confident that the line keeps moving up.
