Don't even get me started. Enough is enough and it's time for a change.

We've pretty much had the same student section since my parents first bought season tickets in the early 80's. I think it extended further around behind the basket for a while, then they shoved them up into the corner rafters to give those seats to Tide Pride. ANd there was a brief period in the 90's where students were in some temporary bleachers on the floor behind one basket.

So Tchikou was obviously not "needed" tonight. Wonder if we were up by 20 most of the game if he would have gotten a couple of minutes.

It's almost sad this is what I'm most frustrated about tonight, wanted a blowout so we could've checked him out. Hopefully, he gets some run on Friday night.

They’ve only done it in buy games so far, but feeling good about being higher on Memphis than consensus in the preseason. Offense looks efficient, Emoni not forcing things, shot selection seems better and defense is still elite. Penny doing a nice job with lots of tests to come.

I was a student during the Grant era and feel like our section was behind one of the goals for a while. I just feel sorry for the kids there now because I had to go endure that style of play for years and we finally have a fun and great product on the court and we can't get them more involved.

Meanwhile, we have people who couldn't be less enthusiastic about the sports buying tickets so they can rack up their points to go to football. At least they're showing up a bit more on weeknights?

I've watched them a few times and really I haven't been all that impressed. They are talented don't get me wrong. I've been more impressed with Jalen Duran than Emoni Bates.

Yep - we were behind the rim during the Gottfried era when I was there. Basically it was behind the rim up into the corner. Now, it's free throw line extended on the side over to the corner.

Holt is underrated I think. I really liked him as a recruit. That said, I was surprised to see him out there so much in a close game at this point in his career.

The students need to protest to get their seats changed

Nice.

But seriously, he had as many points as Shack tonight on six fewer shots.

We have to find a way to keep pushing his attempts up as the season goes on. He's just so good at taking controlled shots, drawing fouls, finishing when he has the ball in his hand. It's gotta be there more.

By my count, Alabama is 9-0 when Nate Oats gets a technical

23.5 is a pretty low winning score

I retract my earlier statement - it was a good technical

Agreed - he also missed two completely wide open threes and he was pissed at himself for missing both of them. I absolutely love his demeanor as a player, just want him to be a tad bit more aggressive offensively.

You're just used to them Herb scores.

Game one: Gary - 20.5
Game two: Ellis - 25.5
Game three: Bediako - 23.5

Also, kinda feel like Oats is harder on Miles than anyone because he sees so much untapped potential and he is kind of grooming him to be the primary ball handler next year along with Jaden Bradley.
