Hell yea - I thought he was getting after it too. Good for him. That's a role he can definitely fill if he keeps competing like that.

LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK

Putting aside the need for a new arena for a moment, it's the seating arrangement that really annoys me. The student section doesn't need to be shoved in a corner and our sideline shouldn't have to be standing and begging the crowd around them to actually stand up and make some noise. Just based on what I saw from the stream, most people in the front rows remained seated the whole game with their legs crossed.

Maybe someone can enlighten me a bit more on the Tide Pride/season ticket upgrades for football, but I feel like there is some sort of abuse of the system. Yeah, we play in an airplane hangar, but we can improve the environment if we get a bit more strategic with the seating chart.

I think Byrne's plan is to tackle those at the same time. It's frustrating, because I think it absolutely effects the play on the floor, but he knows that he can't just rip that up and move people around without backlash. He can do it in the context of reconfiguring (or having an entirely new) the building as part of a renovation or new build.

It's all about the mindset! I'm pretty sure Coach Oats will tell to be more aggressive.

Don't even get me started. Enough is enough and it's time for a change.

Yea I'm not too concerned. I think we do have a few things that a smaller, quicker, phyiscal team exploited tonight that we haven't dealt with the first 2 games, but for the most part we are physically still able to be a very good team. We just got taught a lesson tonight, and we still found a way to win while learning it.

Show up and have issues Friday night and I might be a lil more skittish. However, 3-0 at Alabama is cause for celebration

That's true, now I must say I don't think it would of been much of a game with Juwan Gary.

Celebrate for sure because we've come a long ways!!! Would of lost that one under Avery for sure

Bad news - tonight's performance dropped us from #12 to #18 in KenPom

Good news - tonight's performance increased USA's rank from #258 to #237 in KenPom

That's a good point, it would be a lot easier to do everything at once. On the other hand...just rip the bandaid and let's get on with it.

Yea, I mean it sucks. It's a terrible look, it effects the noise level on the floor, it rewards people who spit in the face of the basketball program. It's all fvckin awful.

So Tchikou was obviously not "needed" tonight. Wonder if we were up by 20 most of the game if he would have gotten a couple of minutes.

Wonder if Holt's performance/Oats comments about it keep Tchikou on the bench just a hair longer.

I would love to be up big on Oakland so we can see Tchikou get at least a good five minutes of live action.

I want to see him and Holt honestly! I actually thought Holt played defense pretty good.
