Terrible game, glad we won, should pretty clearly be a slap to the back of the head wake up call on how not to show up ever.

I hope this means we come out firing against Oakland and get that mojo back before heading to Orlando.

It should have effected Shack but he'd drive to the rim 15 times a game if Tony Allen was guarding him. He just has no filter.

Coach Oats might need to swap him and JQ. Let JD start and see how he responds.

JD can get to the rim whenever he wants and he only attempts 3 shots and has 2 points off a dunk.

BE MORE AGGRESSIVE

He's walking into a guard room with a lot of experience, and he's just a freshman in his 3rd game. It's only natural for him to try to work in his reps slowly.

Yea, JD will get there. The outside shot thing is definitely going to effect the space he gets on the dribble drive, though. Teams are going to make him prove he can semi-consistently hit outside shots - especially because in doing so it mucks up the rest of our offensive flow.

Alabama squeaks out a win over Richie Riley and South Alabama. Not their most impressive win, but...a win nonetheless.

Nate Oats is inevitable.

Watched the game on ESPN+. Either USA is very good or we are not very good. Way too many turnovers, offense looked desperately inconsistent and free throw shooting was poor. Lots of work to be done but a win is a win.

With the amount of sloppy turnovers and lazy play we put out there, i wouldn’t use this game as a true measuring stick. If we get our heads out of our asses after tonight then this game was meaningless and we should just feel good it’s a W and not an L. I’m not too concerned right now, just have to sharpen up.
