Jahvon Quinerly says college career is over following knee injury. Hate it for him, hope he has a speedy & full recovery.

Cheers, everyone.

We have work to do over the offseason so that next year's thread is the one that takes us to the F4 and beyond.

Looks like holt is transferring and q is gone(best of luck to that kid man) , so what are early thoughts on returnees besides burnett, the recruits, bediako, and gurley? Shack has decision to make i guess so that leaves miles , gary, KAH all in flux. Definitely hope gary returns.

I don’t consider juco guys as transfers. I’d put as successful transfers JQ and Bruner and unsuccessful transfers as Beetle and Gurley with Burnett TBD.

Yeah, I don't think it's as much the trend under this staff as it is a past decade plus thing.

shots didnt fall , really that simple

A lot if shots didnt fall this season. Actual shooters are needed for this offense and not recruiting them was a huge mistake

We’ve gotta make them count this year (captain obvious I know) because relying on freshmen to put us back over the hump is quite the risky strategy

Thats been rectified in this incoming class. Miller and griffin can shoot, bradley has a good midrange game

Miller will be our biggest impact rectuit in a long time. Any guy that turns down the G League and over seas opportunities these days is big time. Jabari Smith but more skilled and plays above the rim

No way it could be a disaster. This is Alabama basketball we're talking about. Leaning on a bunch of true freshmen could never, ever backfire on us.

I don’t think he’s more skilled than Jabari Smith. Might want to pump the brakes on that a bit.

This is how you set unrealistic expectations on a kid, and then get pissed off when people are upset that he played like shite

The odds of him playing like shite are next to nothing. If he had chosen a prep school like img or montverde he d be rated higher than 10th in nation. This isnt jd we re talking about although i think jd will be fine in the long run. Miller is skilled and athletic, high basketball iq.

Not for sure smith is #1 overall. Knock on him is he cant create his own shot or dribble well. Great catch and shoot and midrange for sure

The other day it was Kevin Durant and Paul George, so we're headed in the right direction.

Yes he has been compared to paul georhe... Man forgive me for being excited to have a 5 star that everybody wanted and turned down multiple pro opportunities to come to college. Im quiet sure the barners were happy to get smith
