The disappointment is understandable because this staff has us relevant and in the ear of almost every top recruit. This was somewhat of a transition year but weve shown we can compete and WIN against anyone. Like someone mentioned we were DEAD and apathetic when CNO took over, the bigger issue is spoiled entitled fans who think building a bball program should be like football... When in fact its not even the same. The direction of this program is better than its been in my lifetime since the Wimp era , plus a new arena is on the way . The roster will be new next year and i believe Nate will learn from the disappointment of this year .

Facts. He's building a BRAND and trying to keep this winning CULTURE going.
Nate Oats is the man for this JOB here at Alabama. A new style only we have and with the right pieces it could be unstoppable.

JQ just put on instagram:
“Never in a million years would I have thought this is how my last college game would play out”
So safe to say he’s probably gone regardless

He really has no upside too coming back honestly unless he wants to try too win a National Championship!
My opinion on who's leaving:
JQ (Age)
Shack (Pro/Transfer)
Miles (Transfer)
Ambrose (Transfer)
Tchikou (Transfer)
Rojas (Eligibility)
Decisions to make:
JD (Pro)
Ellis (Pro)
On the fence:
Gary (Doesn't quite fit)
Holt

Where? The Swedish B league? Any NBA GM who uses a draft pick on him should be fired on the spot.

I do think it’s a little ironic that the main problem this year seems to be the culture and these, for the most part, are guys Oats brought in.

NBA decision! Pro scouts know more than you do bro again if they feel like they can develop him quicker and better then he will get drafted much higher than expected off POTENTIAL alone.
Phenomenal athlete with a great upside to be a starting point guard one day in the NBA. He has worked to do though most definitely.
He didn't perform to some of you guys LEVELS OF EXPECTATION but what you all better realize is JD can fill a stat sheet (Scoring, Rebounding, & Assisting) so that's POTENTIAL.
I hope JD comes back because I think he has a lot more to offer like being more consistent with his play. He needs to continue developing offensively and defensively but most importantly I think he would have a much better year next year simply because Nate Oats will have a lot more SHOOTERS around him along with some guys who play above the rim so that will open up the lane a lot more.

Yes, all those guys are his now and Coach Oats already spoke on this... MATURITY! We didn't have the right PLAYER LEADERSHIP so therefore an inconsistent season.

Bro JD ain’t coming back. He should cash in while he can and not risk coming back and tanking his stock even more

Biggest key is Nate’s not just gotta get great players from the portal he’s gotta get great leaders who will get in guys faces and make them put in the extra work.
This is why Bruner was a HomeRun

I want 4 of those 5 back, but I'm okay if Gurley leaves. Not a good shooter, average interior scorer at best, and not a good defender. Massive disappointment.

He already said he’s coming back.

I know. Just saying I'd be okay with a change of heart or us cutting the cord.

Avery was light years better than Grant. Wimp and CM on that big F mistake in hiring Grant.
