Their fans are in for a rude awakening assuming our guys don't regress to Longwood type shooting.

Only thing that concerns me Thursday is that it will be our first game against that type of competition. They’ve already played multiple games against big time teams. I know South and Liberty are decent to better than decent mid-majors, but Thursday will still be big step up in terms of athleticism and physicality.

UNC's big man, Bacot, had 23 rebs and 19 points today. Will be interesting to see how Bediako and Clowney match up against him if we do play them.

That's honestly like an NCAA tournament bracket. Just switch SDS with Michigan St

Why would he transfer. He's seeing good playing time as a freshman and already has a green light to shoot. He's only going to play more.

My best guess on the playing time distribution….

WILL PLAY A TON
Brandon Miller
Mark Sears
Noah Clowney
Jahvon Quinerly
Nimari Burnett
Jaden Bradley

WILL BE IN THE ROTATION
Charles Bediako
Rylan Griffen
Nick Pringle

SHOULDN’T PLAY MUCH
Darius Miles
Noah Gurley

NOT ENOUGH INFO
Dom Welch

Hard for me to see Griffen getting many minutes when Welch and Miles come back.

Pringle will end up not getting many minutes either unless one of our other bigs gets injured.

I hope Miles doesn’t take Griffen’s minutes. Griffen has much more upside imo.

I think Welch is gonna take Griffens minutes more than Miles, but Miles will for sure play some too.

If you watch basketball outside of Alabama basketball you have seen him he is a 5th year player who has started 4 years in the A10 already.

I personally would rather see Griffen get minutes instead of Miles if it comes down to those two, I think Griffins upside is higher.

I do like Miles though and he has shown flashes, some people are overreacting cause he didnt play well in the only game he played in this year.

Yeah, and he's never exactly lit up the stat sheet. I'm going to keep my expectations low until proven wrong.

He was a role player and he played his role great, we recruited him to play that same role for us, knock down threes, play elite D, and rebound.

Welch is hurt though we don't know when or if he will be 100% this year.

I watch lots of BB but anybody who sys they watched a lot of Welch's games is well full of it.

Hope he turns out to be great but Have not seen or noticed in stats that will be true.

He was a last second transfer when we ran out of other options.

Still, hope he is great but I willl wait to see.

Welch played in the A10 probably the best non P6 conference out there and also played multiple power conference teams in OOC play. He has more than shown he can play at this level.

Cason Wallace is the only person that scares me on Kentucky's team.

Oscar is literally above average at best.
Wheeler still can't shoot
Toppin still ain't it period

Neither one of those teams scare me

Of course they could beat us, but if we play our A, maybe even B + game, I’d feel confident with bama vs both

I thought Gonzaga was overrated after losing to Texas as bad as they did and almost losing to MSU, but maybe Kentucky is even more overrated
