I will say and I do think this maybe a really hot topic but .... I do think every kid has their own mental make up.
I ABSOLUTELY think having a strong foundation (socially and economically) as well as having two parents is critical in a child's development. However, I also think that no matter what you do.... the kids brain function, development, and temperament is unique.
In SOME cases, I think parenting/coaching is limited to change. Additionally, some kids just make dumb as frick decisions. Parenting/Coaching is HARD. We should give parents/coaching the benefit of doubt at times while still holding those accountable. IMO.

Yeah I think he handled it as well as possible and they had a solid opening ready for him to go with.

Let's be honest. I do think Oats is a prideful person but DAMN.... as a coach, you know that hurts. You know that you aren't responsible but outside the parents... you FEEL like you share a portion of the blame. Whether that's right or not.
I don't know the personal dynamic between Miles & Oats. However, Oats will be effected more than the players, IMO.

Besides the walks on, what players have been around Miles more than a year? Seems like only JQ, Bedakio and Gurley would possibly know him that well. Most are new. I'm probably forgetting someone.

All kids make dumb as frick decisions. The portions of the human brain that control impulses and decision making aren't fully developed until your mid-20s. The notion that someone is suddenly a real adult at 18 simply by virtue of reaching the age of majority is silly. Some kids are old souls and are less likely to get into serious trouble, but we all did stupid shite in high school and college.

1000%.I feel like I was an old soul as a child and maybe an anomaly....but when you start raising your own.. you can definitely feel that they are dumb AF.

Why are they having day games on a Monday? Is it because it’s Robert E Lee’s birthday?

Nvm I forgot we’re the only state that celebrates that day. I hate our state sometimes.

Liam Robbins is a beast, he is the guy from Vandy I most worry about.
ETA: This is his 5th year I believe.

I know he's good so we got to limit him as much as we can.
He has to be going on his seventh year of eligibility
