Brandon Miller has a lot of KOBE BRYANT in him with the way he can make RIDICULOUS SHOTS.

I don’t want to look too far ahead…. But could you imagine being a 1 seed with this team? This isn’t a team built to lose against inferior competition.

No, I cringe a little when I see it. Thought it was just me though.

How can we be so low after playing such a tough schedule and going 14-2?
It's complicated but basically, it's early in the year and it's a predictive model. As such, it heavily weights things like offensive and defensive efficiency. It then increasingly weights results as the season progresses and there are fewer outcomes to predict.

So while it rates us with the highest strength of schedule currently, and rates us with a pretty high level of offensive and defensive efficiency, we're still grading out as slightly less efficient and luckier than the small handful of teams that are currently rate above us. Houston and UConn for example are in the top 10 in both offensive and defensive efficiency, and Tennessee is literally number 1 in defensive efficiency. And they all have very strong records in their own right.

And if you think about how much we've turned it over at times, and that we shoot at a relatively average clip despite our aggressive tempo, it makes sense we'd be about here this early in the season. We were #7 before the big win ftr.

That said, the difference at the top is essentially meaningless this early in the season. If we keep winning games like this, we'll be on the 1 line at the end of the season.

when your 14-2 with that schedule, nothing matters.

Just keeping drilling folks.
