Alabama's Nimari Burnett (wrist) is expected to be out another 3-5 weeks, per Nate Oats. One of the best perimeter defenders in the sport. Averages 7.9 PPG.

That’s still in line with the original timeline isn’t it?

Yeah. He had surgery 3 weeks ago and it's a 6-8 week recovery. It'd be nice if he could be back for our trip to Mizzou, but that's probably pushing it. I feel terrible for the kid. He has lost 2 seasons of his career to a bad college choice and a couple of injuries.

He broke it on 12/10 (Saturday). Had surgery the following Monday or Tuesday, which is basically three weeks ago. I think they said it was initially a 6-8 week thing, so yeah, i'm pretty sure this is still in line with the original timeline.

Am I just being biased in my seething hatred for anything UTk related, or is a lot of the love they're getting a bit unwarranted? They've played 2 Q1 games. The only other teams in the NET top 25 who have played 2 or less are FAU and Utah State.

Joka, This is a classic trap game. I’m nervous. Ole Miss was a handful for Tennessee.
