I'm glad we are where we at but this game pissy me off because we did not CHANGE our defense after halftime.
That was bad coaching. No 2-3 zone or anything.
Our on DEFENSIVE coverage allowed guys to walk in the lane and hit floaters.
Our coaching staff allowed their players to get a rhythm.

A veteran team beat an inexperienced team. We’ll be better deeper into the season. Our youth competed offensively, even though Bradley missed clutch layups when we desperately needed them to take the lead, defensively we were lost. Gonzaga was the better team today without a doubt.
Also why is Timme, a Senior, still in college if he is so good? Guess NBA doesn’t want him very much.

People are going to talk about the defense, but sometimes the offense you're facing is operating at an historic level. 60-70% of their offense was from floaters. They took a shot that has less than a 40% success rate at the collegiate level and hit it at what had to be a near 90% success rate for an entire team. NBA stars known for their floater game hit them a little higher than half the time.
If floater statistics were recorded in basketball, that had to have been, quite easily, the most floaters ever hit in a collegiate game. Never seen anything like that at any level of basketball...

Joka, this game got me nervous about Jackson State. Did you see how competitive they were with Mississippi State the other night?

Why is Rylan Griffen not playing more?

Exactly. 99% of games it will work out but some occasionally you just gotta tip your cap to the other team

We keep playing drop coverage on defense a lot of teams are going to cook us.

Houston up 11 at Virginia with 10 minutes left.

Gonzaga won both games against the SEC. Both games against Top 4 teams in the conference. Both away from their home arena. Both by double digits.

Not a lot of teams capable of what Gonzaga did with a big like Timme.

He most definitely should of been in a lot more.

Gonzaga in the second half today vs. Alabama:
- 53 points
- 74.1% from the field
- 66.7% from 3
- 1.43 points per possession (for reference, Arizona ranks No. 1 nationally this season at 1.20 PPP)
An absolute clinic offensively.

They had 6 players in double figures, we had 2

Did you see when Gurley started hedging hard on the screen the point guard pick the ball up? Hickman did not like that. We should of doubled the point guard up top every time to force them in to turnovers.

Yes, he also did the best job on Timme.
Didn't like our gameplan either.
