Insane month of games for us
@ #5 Houston
vs #26 Memphis
vs #15 Gonzaga
@ #17 Mississippi State
vs #13 Kentucky
@ #10 Arkansas
We play 20% of the Top 25 in a 8 game stretch.
This after already playing #3 UConn, Michigan St and UNC.
Decent tix still available pretty cheap for @MSU. Just over 2 hour drive from Birmingham.

We really need to do a better job at converting at the free throw line.

What is FTA? Number of attempts at free throws comparatively?

quote:FTA is free throw attempts. The FTA rate is free throw attempts divided by field goal attempts. It's basically an expression of how likely a team is to get to the free throw line. We're very solid there (91st percentile) but our conversion rate on free throws needs to improve (bottom half of CBB).

As for Birmingham, Nate Oats said on his “Hey Coach” show last night that he was told Saturday’s game against Gonzaga is the first time the BJCC has sold out for a basketball game since the 1992 SEC tournament.

I think we’ll be fine there. We have some really good FT shooters underperforming a bit rn

"I mean, it obviously wasn't. It's weird that some people took it that way imo."
It's amazing that fans of the greatest dynasty ever in college football are so thin skinned and insecure.

Defend & Rebound like crazy...We win
I got a feeling Brandon Miller & Jahvon Quinerly will put on a show. (The whole team gone eat)
Monster dunks by Nick Pringle
Good dream

Now my app shows -7.5, as well.
Maybe I looked at it wrong this morning.
Oh, well, maybe we'll cover the 7.5 and then some

Joka, I’m worried. Memphis has a lot of experience and they put it on Auburn.

A year ago, Alabama was 8-1 right before playing Memphis. The Crimson Tide proceeded to go 11-13 the rest of the way.
Just saying......since history occasionally likes to repeat itself.
Damn you, Haslam.

Me too. Bama just beat Houston on the road, got ranked #4, and can't help but know Gonzaga comes to town Saturday. Memphis gets Franklin for the first time and are sky high after beating Auburn.
Alabama is the better team by far but if ever a game warranted an Admiral Ackbar "it's a trap" gif, this is it.

Calm down mistaken...
Alabama will get it done tonight by simply DEFENDING and REBOUNDING.
Take care of the ball and get out and run in transition.
Memphis is good but they aren't anywhere near UConn good. They will play hard so we must match that from the jump though.
Brandon Miller
Stretch Clowney
JB
Rylan Griffin
Mark Sears
Nick Pringle
None of those guys played last year vs Memphis so we gone see if HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF TONIGHT.
They not the only team who's HUNGRY!
