Most encouraging part of tonight is defense. I can deal with cold shooting if we show this kind of effort on the defensive end, because that’ll keep us in every game we play.
This may be the first P5 opponent that doesn’t shoot 50% on us.

Do you guys think the NBA line being on the floor is hurting us? Seems like we mentally think that’s the 3pt line and are shooting farther shots

We are still giving up some points. But I'm loving the defensive effort tonight. Especially how we are playing screens. Think we recognized something with how slow Ballo is to crash the rim. We have time for our bigs to go screaming back down after pressing the screen.

Dude we are actually OK on defense when Wague is on the floor

Nelson played great defense the first half, but I was all over his shooting the first half
Let that man cook me up in the 2nd half and I most definitely will not complain

First time we’ve looked like we’ve had any confidence too. Looked like a deer in the headlights in the first half.
Let’s see if we can keep playing the same defense while the offense gets going.

Finish at the rim, guys!

I will gladly eat the Nelson crow if he wants to go off this half

Two of the best almost posterizers I’ve seen at the collegiate level.

We've actually been better when Nick Pringle is in this second half.

There was a lot of bodies and arms in the way on that one… That would’ve been hella impressive

You can see the offensive talent/skillset with Nelson, it just hasn’t clicked all the way yet with the step up in competition.

He finally decided to attack the rim with some AUTHORITY. I LOVE IT.

Wague has been playing great and was the one that was a part of the start of this run

We’re the better team on the court.

Relentless effort. Good things will happen

Nelson is also playing at 80% if that. He sprained his ankle two weeks ago.

First game in a while that our bigs are not in early foul trouble. Good to see.

Arizona still has a run in them and the refs will probably be charitable their way, so be ready to grit your teeth and bear it. Bama is in good shape.

They are starting to run out at Nelson and he is driving. Like it.
