We were a 5 seed going into today, you guys are acting like we wont make the tournament now after losing to a top 10 team on the road barely. We are going to make the tournament and in the tournament teams like Purdue and Creighton, who we almost beat on the road, wont be shooting 15 more foul shots vs us in a game.
And both teams returned almost everyone from last year year and we are playing with 8 new players and almost beating them, on the road.

Should have handled business against Ohio State and Clemson. Things would look a lot different right now.
We’re right there. Could have easily won both games against Purdue and Creighton.
Gotta figure out a way to improve on defense.

The only reason why the team last year would beat this year's team is because of...ATTITUDE!
Brandon Miller & Jahvon Quinerly played with one. They talked shite to coaches, players, and fans. They wasn't nice on the court...this team has too many nice guys.
Example:
Everybody wanted Nick Saban to get onto Jermaine Burton because of his antics. Nick Saban pretty much said NO! Reason being is because he plays with an ATTITUDE that's needed. His antics and attitude made other players confident.
I saw Grant Nelson apologizing to a guy for poking him in the eye...bro, we ain't doing that.
This team lacks ATTITUDE.
Collin Sexton had an attitude.
John Petty had an attitude.
Herb Jones had an attitude.
Alex Reese had an attitude.

Nobody is that animal on this team...too many nice guys.

It’s talent. We replaced Miller, Clowney, Bediako, JQ, Bradley, and Burnett with Walters, Stevenson, Wague, Estrada, and Wrightsell

Same thing was said about our wide receivers earlier this season...they don't have the talent then all of a sudden Jermaine Burton and his attitude...uplift everybody's confidence to another level.

Almost beating creighton at their place with them shooting 16 more free throws than us is very encouraging. We didn't play our A game either and were right there. Bodes well for the rest of the season.

Wague fouled out in 7 minutes. A couple of the fouls were questionable and so was the goal tend, but he needs to be less foul prone.

2-4 against KenPom top 150 teams (2-6 if you throw in the preseason losses to Wake and TCU). If we go .333 against top 150 SEC teams we won’t even make the NIT.
Every decent team we play gets whatever they want offensively. If any one of them has any rim protection at all our offense becomes dependent on making 20 3-pointers. .

Basketball teams don't win often on the road vs good teams. Home teams generally get the calls and generally shoot 15 or more free throws than the away team. We cant overcome teams like Purdue and Creighton shooting more 15 or 20 more free throws than us and expect to win. This out of conference schedule was idiotic, none of these big games were at home. Off to Arizona next where I’m sure they will shoot 20 more free throws than us too.
