I’d like to see some energy out of Bryce early.

I think his wildly calm demeanor isn’t great for the team trying to match the rabid energy of the home teams.

hey will have success running the ball just as 10RC did because our interior DL are all average

This in my opinion is where the real problems on defense exists. The interior DL is average and its play often allowed Tennessee to have 'success' running the football on 1st downs. This opened up the playbook for UT because they found themselves in 2 and 5 type situations. The few series where Bama held them to 10 yards or more, were the plays the defense got off the field without giving up points.

This team on the road makes me want to vomit. Don't like this game at all.

Force the Corndogs to beat you with their passing game. Use Anderson and Co to get pressure on Daniels instead of the two step BS they used at UT. Use some zone blitz stuff, spy with To’oto’o or Lawson/Moody, but unleash Anderson, Turner, and Braswell on those freshmen tackles. Offensively, establish the run game and protect Bryce.

If you think we aren’t gonna mush rush a QB that prefers to run more than he likes to pass you are lying to yourself.

I came here to say this but you beat me to it.

I expect us to mush rush and drop Will Anderson and Dallas into coverage.

State has been running it well/a lot this year actually. Bama had 1 more carry on Saturday (22 attempts.) They had 36 rushing attempts against Arkansas and 24 against A&M, both for 150+ yards. After the first drive there wasn't much success for their offense at all.

LSU has better backs, but their OLine is not good. The only way I see them having a lot of success on the ground is if Daniels is lighting it up through the air.

I haven't watched them at all this year.

Can they stretch the field vertically? If they can't, Bama's defense is going to be fine.

Apparently their QB isn't so great past 20 yards. They do have some good receivers, though.

Daniels is really bad throwing the deep ball but here’s what sucks. His bad is gonna kill us because he under throws every deep ball. Which means you have to be able to turn around and play the ball in the air. Which we can’t do outside of Ricks. So I fully expect a bunch of PI’s penalties due to under throws.

Thoughts on the lsu game

Close win, close loss or blowout win.

Depends on which team shows up and how they respond over the course of the full game.
