I think we are all anxious because we don’t have a guy named Bryce Young or Mac Jones back there that we know is a DUDE.

The QB isn’t the face of the team for once, and that’s okay. It’s time for some other positions to step up.

I think Milroe will be the QB and I think he will be one of the best QBs in the SEC and the country.

What makes you say that?

Because we will have plays where he can use his legs. Spring Game he wasn’t able to use his legs and that hindered him. Very Jalen Hurts like offense but he is a more explosive and versatile runner than Jalen.

No one really knew that Mac Jones was the dude, most people were saying true freshman Bryce Young was going to start over Mac.

I’m hoping to see a much more aggressive defense under Steele. Hopefully better up front and less confused. And of course, committing fewer penalties is a must.

If they get good QB play for the year, they win the west and will make the play-off's. If the QB play is so-so, Bama will lose two and play in a decent bowl game

This is basically it. The QB will have to play well to win the division, conference, and playoff.

Running quarterbacks who can't throw are pretty easily stopped by a decent defense. We win two in a row against Clem(p)son if Hurts could throw. Instead it was three-and-out, three-and-out, three-and-out. The best defense we've ever seen played 99 snaps and finally broke down.

I’ve said this before about that game. Watson took a beating that night, but that man just wouldn’t be denied. I agree Hurts didn’t pass that well but he did have the go ahead TD.

But Watson proved to me he’s one tough hombre after that game.

Don’t overlook Buchner. This kid is killing himself to be the guy. There is something about him.

From what little bit of game film I’ve seen, he don’t play scared.

Yes, hwyman, I thought we’d killed him on one play. He spun in the air and landed on his side and I thought, “this is over. He will be playing scared now.” Watson was tough. I think if we play 75 snaps on defense we win that game. And I don’t down Hurts. He is our man forever.

Honestly we just scored to soon, had we scored 3 plays later on Hurts legs, we win by default. Sucks.

LSU won the West with Jaden Daniels. He was not a good passer. He was often a liability and is not near the runner that Milroe is and he ran all over the SEC last year.

Milroe will be fine. He just needs to convert a few 3rd downs with his arm here and there and our running game, defense, and his legs will do the rest.

Is the goal to win the SEC west? They got their shite pushed in by UTk and UGA and then lost by 15 to A&M. We need someone that can sustain drives not someone that makes one or two big plays a game.

If Milroe can not the turn the ball over and keep the chains moving, he should be the guy.

Yep. The committee got that one right, for sure.
