I agree with you that it's hard to believe that we can possibly truly be as bad as what we saw yesterday. Too much talent in the team. It just depends on how bad the players want it.

And I think that our defense is good. I honestly think that they will keep us in every game IF we find some kind of identity on offense. Just not so sure when that will happen.

I agree man.

I think we are a couple adjustments from finding our feet and when we do we could be a serious problem.

I think the defense has a lot of potential. They just need help from our OC who has had two very bad games calling plays.

However everything starts with the OL. We have to sort that out man. We all know Proctor struggles with quickness on the edge and USF exploited that. We need to figure that out. We also know we are we center-right. We need to sort that out as well.

Is Pritchett injured?

Just wondering if people are seeing what I'm saying now

We're just a couple of things from being really good. Need our OC to understand our QB and OL limitations and create plays which either hide them or exploit the opponents weaknesses well enough.

We have a good defense that will grow to be great, solid special teams. Just a little bit away.

I said it in the other thread but use Milroe for what he has. Did OL.

Everything else is good.

I think Pritchett needs to be our LT. He played the entire second quarter and I don’t know if he was beat once. Not saying he was perfect, but he looked pretty damn solid from what I saw. He was much smoother in his movements than Proctor and was quicker to neutralize rushers trying to get around the edge.

Not sure what I think about the C and RG, but I think Pritchett at tackle and sliding Proctor to a guard spot could improve our OL materially.

We need the guys we got at the positions they’re playing to get better. Shaking the whole thing up is a shitshow waiting to happen.

IF we can get McLaughlin functional at C

Saban inherited a center in 2007 who became an All-American who was the start of 14 years of continued excellence at the position. We don't have anything remotely as good any more.

I don't know if Pritchett is the answer at LT, but Proctor is not. He is too big and not quick enough at this point. He should be a guard for now. I don't understand why Latham is not the LT.
