We are lucky Nico overthrew about 4 open receivers in the first half otherwise we would have been blown out

Not seeing a lot of improvement in the secondary which regularly allow guys to run down the field wide open. However going into the season we knew this would be an issue, and it still is.

Still have a lot of receivers running free behind our DB's. Just a couple of those hit and I'm not so sure they recover.

Yep, been a problem all year long and it's still with us. If we don't fix that by the LSU game, they're gonna put up a lot of points on us in Baton Rouge...

I'm not seeing any improvement with the D. Gotta lot of freshmen playing and they're getting a lot of experience which bodes well for next season, but just not seeing it now; another bad second half, another 200+ yd rushing game and we're still getting beat deep. If Golding were still our DC and allowing these numbers, Milroe would be having some stiff competition as our fan's favorite target...

I don’t even know what to think about Golding having the #3 scoring and #7 total defense in the league while we sit at the bottom. I couldn’t help but to laugh seeing the SEC defensive rankings posted on the first page ITT. I wanted him gone after 3-4 games into his second year as our defensive play caller and wanted his head on a spike outside of BDS by the end of his tenure with UA. But look at him now… the fricker looks like he’s figured it out. For the goddamn “‘Sip”

Very true. Forgot how easy their schedule has been. That said…

I’d take those defensive results vs. LSU and UK in a heart beat over what we have now. How the mighty have fallen..

I think Golding has full autonomy with the defense at Ole Miss; pretty sure he didn't have that under Saban. I thought Golding did fairly well at Bama till his last year; by then, I think it was time for a fresh start for both he and Bama.

I’ve watched very little OM football this year, but I am curious how similar the stuff Pete is running at OM is to the schemes / game plans he was running at Bama. Would like to see Saban break it down on film.
