You could probably come up with a list of
"Could have been the play of the year" if not for what happened later.
A few examples would be :
2011, Michael Williams to Marquize Maze pass in the LSU game
2013, AJ McCarron to Amari Cooper for a 99 yard TD pass in the Iron Bowl
2016, Jalen Hurts 30 yard TD run with 2 minutes to go against Clemson

Hell that might’ve been the play of the year anyway. Was certainly the most excited I got all season.
