Here he is. He's "rah, rah team," now. He's happy when things are going good.

Yesterday this was him.

Deboer is not the answer and will not take Bama to elite levels with toughness.

As long as we have Deboer, we will be soft and finessee. Not like Iowa or Indiana.

Deboer isn't the right guy. It happens. He was a hot name a few years ago. Win some, lose some.....Whats important is moving on, FAST. Deboer has shown he is not the right guy. No sense delaying when we can get the next coach lined up.

Who exactly did he think that coach should be?

Deboer and Grubb don't know what they are doing.......Bsides that, I'd rather just have an offensive philosophy more like Indiana.

Indian = man ball..........Bama = Finesse

Need Grubb to leave and go hire the entire offensive staff of Iowa.

If Grubb leaves that Iowa OC needs looking at.

Iowa OC is smart. Nothing too fancy. Rely on your strengths. Straight ahead.

Deboer is not hard to understand. All you have to do is look at Saban and see Deboer is opposite in his mentality. AND that all the coaches in the playoffs are Saban disciplines with his same philosophy.... Thats why Deboer will never be successful to the Alabama Standard. He is soft, lacks good fundamentals, mentally weak, hires friends instead of proven coaches, etc. The worst part is he is so delusional he can't even see what he is and he is not about to change. Its not in him to do so.

He and Cignetti field a full team every year. Thats just the difference in me and you. The ones that stay will be worth it instead of having soft spoiled players that think they tell the coaches what they will do.

quote:

There is no band-aid that is going to fix the Deboer problem until he is gone. Alabama just has to find the right time and the right next coach to make the switch. The worst thing this admin could do is try to drag out the Deboer issue longer than they have to.

I'm done with Deboer. We'll get more of the same till he is gone...Praying another team hires him.

Until Deboer is gone, Bama will continue to slide into the Shula era.

quote:

I make no apologies saying I'll be happy when Deboer is gone; but I have said nothing negative in this thread other than summarize what Mike Johnson said. Don't try to add to what I said. Mike Johnson was just giving his honest assessment which many people agree with.

Deboer is generally soft and leadership style always flows down into the people in the organization. So toughness will not be a general strength of the team.

Grubb will NEVER have a good running game...Never ever

Got news for you, I stand by every word I said. Deboer needs to be gone.

Still standing by those words? Speak up with boldness.

you took the time to go get all these posts to attack one person... You might need to take a break from social media. And you probably need to change your screen name. This isn't cool, imo. Let folks vent how they want. It's just a message board.

People get pissed and have horrible takes on here all the time, especially during games.

If they change their mind for the better later, then good for them.

I just wish we wouldn’t bash our players. I am old school in that regard. Never boo or trash talk your own school’s players. But of course I know they are basically professionals now so people have said screw that old rule.

OP, as I said. I see you carved out only the posts you wanted and left the recent ones out. Deboer is doing better. I am judging him fairly on his results this year. He seems to be doing better and growing into the job. I suggest you grow up and you might want to consider changing your name.

Yeah, I noticed that you were the one he was often bouncing off of. You're really just as bad.
