This ain't happening. People should just go ahead and accept it.
I'm coming to terms with the Pete Golding defense. He may need to address his pass rush scheme when he doesn't have the kind of talent he has this year, but otherwise, I'm okay with it now.

Art Briles was cleared of wrongdoing and most people probably figured he was guilty of something. Remember how ESPN made Briles look? Unless you're intimately involved with Pruitt's case you don't know if the man will return to Tuscaloosa or not. People say all kinds of stuff in the media but when the true facts come out things can change.

What I know is that the NCAA hasn't even sent Tennessee an NOA yet and hasn't even accepted Tennessee's self imposed penalties. This thread is about 2022, not some possibility of what might happen years down the road.

So no, there's no chance in hell of Pruitt being at Alabama in 2022. Anyone who's been following college football for more than six weeks understands that.

I wouldn't bet on metchie coming back and he's top 2 round picks.

I would agree with that pre-injury, but now I'm not sure.

I wouldn't he surprised if JAD, Harris, and Battle all go pro, depending on their draft grades.
Neal and Jamo are sure bets to leave, prob Metchie too.

Metchie is probably gone. He is not going to be a 1st or 2nd round pick after next year either.

His current protection is 72nd, which is early to mid third round.

Probably not but a combine or pro day could potentially improve his stock at least some. He can’t participate in either this year. Though it’s common these days, there’ll be concern on how well his ACL recovery will go.

Harris and Battle I can see, but JAD? Nothing I've seen from him would suggest he is taken in the 1st 6 rounds.

JAD may be back and while he is pretty good, his playing time will be really limited with Kool-Aid and Ricks locking stuff down. I really like how Kool-Aid isn't afraid to put his hands on dudes and sling around a WR. Physicality is something our corners have lacked for a while. I don't give a shite about PI penalties either. We got called for a few in the GA game but Mcreary proved to everyone it's only usually going to get called about 1 out of every 10 times.

Next year's secondary is going to be loaded even if Battle, Jobe and JAD leave.

The depth will be ridiculous even any of them come back.

Arnold and Hellems at safety, Rick and Kool-Aid at CB, Moore and Branch at money and star.

One of the complaints about Jobe is that he’s too physical. One of the reasons he’s one of the most penalized CBs in the nation over the last 2 seasons. He’s also a solid tackler.

I have been frustrated with our coordinators throughout the season, but I must say it is nice to have stability in our staff after so many years of turnover.

It’s good to see other schools grappling with what Alabama has dealt with for over a decade, let’s see if Clemson, UGA, LSU, OK etc can sustain winning.

Don’t remember where I heard it, (maybe a comment on one of the broadcasts), but it quoted B OBrien as saying this was the most difficult year for him ever with regard to play calling. Him having to adjust to Alabama system, as opposed to him implementing his system.

So, I’m trusting Nick to make the best decisions for the program. Maybe with a year in the system and working with players, Bill will be better next year.

have to agree with the excitement noted above; however, most were very excited about this year's team... The lows of just barely winning and actually losing one quelled that excitement and had most calling for the DC / OC to be fired along with the Oline Coach. (well founded, in my opinion).
The talent should be available for a great season as well as a favorable schedule. We all just have to wait until after the Playoffs to get an idea of who will be coming back or going to the draft... then the time between then and the Spring sessions to see who opts to go to the portal (many will need to go to make the 85#)
Remember this and next year's teams are very young.

He’s playing the wrong position. He should move to safety.

We will see. He’s not a perimeter receiver. He does not having great speed or size.
