All day today has been media and fans declaring us getting in a travesty. Nobody wants to talk about Texas jumping them as well? It's only wrong because Alabama is in. If Alabama loses to UGA and Texas jumps FSU at the 4 seed does anyone melt nearly this bad? Media will completely ignore this topic because it's so easy to cry about Alabama.

Exactly. FSU wasn't getting in regardless of us winning. If we lost it would have been Georgia, Michigan, Washington, and Texas.

I predicted Michigan, Wash, FSU, Bama.
Texas was like a parasite to Bama because of that head to head. Wherever Bama moved in the rankings Texas had to go with them. That’s what it seemed like.
They were 7 and beat a barely ranked team. How did they realistically jump all the way to 3? Bama beat no. 1. They had reason to jump ahead. Texas didn’t.
The FSU QB injury and Texas winning head to head against Bama seemingly just made the committee go “screw it”. Put them both in and let’s finally claim “4 best teams” this year.
I feel bad for FSU. Even though I think their conf is trash I don’t agree Mich or Texas should have gotten in over them. Bama earned their way in.

When Tex. got 3, I knew FSU was out, if Texas can jump their 13-0 team with 1 loss and a worse SOS than Bama, then Bama who had more top 15 wins (3-1 vs. Texas) had to jump them as well.
The committee put too much stock in head to head and not enough in overall SOS. The SEC is just a much tougher out than the Big 12 is.
