Sugar Bowl 11am?

For the life of me I can't get my head wrapped around the Sugar Bowl, with Alabama, the #5 team in the nation, being scheduled at 11AM. Whoever made this blunder needs to be kicked squarely in the balls. The Sugar Bowl is one of the major bowl games with a classic match up.....Did anyone see the garbage matchups on Jan 2? The Sugar Bowl could have been a premiere night game at 7PM that day. There is NO night games that day. Baffeling.

ESPN not scheduling this game to go against Monday night football.
Plus Kansas State is not a viewership draw. This is probably one of the least desirable ny6 matchups for TV reasons

It’s been scheduled for 11am all year. Just a victim of circumstance that New Years Day is on a Sunday this year
