You think? He has passed the change line due to his arrogance. His arse needs to go.

I don’t think he needs to go. He needs to delegate.

Our baseball team has heart. Learn from what Bohannon is building. He’s going to have us in Omaha soon.

If they tried to fire him, all hell would break loose. I do believe he’s done a shitty job this season and things have gotten stagnant or something. There’s a problem

Can we blame Golding for this one?

Maybe hire a new strength coach?

Just trying to think outside the box here.

Murphy built our program. It’s not simple as firing him. But changes are obviously needed.

I can’t even imagine how bad it would get. Former players love him. It would turn into a huge mess.

Something needs to change. I don’t believe firing him is on the table, but he needs to do something with his staff

I disagree. Delegating is not an option. There is no hitting or pitching coach on this coaching staff. Might as well replace him as well. He's been here too long with only ONE championship to show for it. He is the past, not the future.

Maybe we just had to trade softball for baseball to be back.

I accept

We didn't have to trade anything. We now have an outstanding baseball coach. Now we need Byrne to hire us a softball coach. Murphy is the past, not the future.

I hope we are having this conversation about Bohannon in 20 years.

Murphy has gotten to the point where he thinks it’s his program and won’t do anything to change it because there’s nothing wrong with it. Before last season there were clear signs they were slipping but then 2019 happened and everyone (including me) thought they were back. But now they are sliding down again worse than before. The program is stale, it’s going in the wrong direction and the coach won’t do anything to shake things up. It’s status quo forever. So Byrne is going to have to step in and shake the program up starting at the top. Murphy has to go. The first step will be to ask him nicely to retire, he’s earned that. When the stubborn SOB won’t do that, Byrne will have to say retire or we will retire you, the choice is yours. It’s time. This program needs fresh blood.

who starts today.

Will they turn it over to Cornell or go back to fouts. We basically have 4 starters with 2 slightly better then the other 2.

Lexi got the start. Looking like Lexi and Montana will be the starters for the SEC games. Let the other two pitch in relief and start the midweek games.
