This loss didn’t really hurt for me. My first game I remember watching was the 2002 Oklahoma loss with that Tyler Watts fumble when I was like 8-9 years old. I’ve grown an appreciation for Alabama football when stuff happens like this, just get back up and play angrier next time.

You better believe Alabama is gonna want some revenge too.

I think reality has failed to set in for some of you guys

2016? We had the lead with 2 minutes to play. We were competitive but they made one more play

Last night we got embarrassed by a true freshman, completely annihilated in every phase of the game with a history - making championship on the line

We didn't even show up, it was easily the worst loss of the Saban era

And the fake FG was the saddest thing I've ever seen, looked like a puppy getting hit by a truck

Excellent Post. Sure, the heartbreaking losses "hurt" more because you drive yourself nuts over the few plays that determined the outcome. I can ultimately stomach those better than what we saw last night. Last night was an embarrassment. I'd rather come up short than get embarassed.

I don't feel like we "lost" a history making championship last night - it was never Bama's to begin with.

In other cases, I feel that missed opportunities are harder to get over for me.

Yeah, I mean, I'm not hurting from it at all

I am embarrassed by what I watched, though

I said this two years ago, and people got apoplectic, but I'll say it again: I'd take Peak Dabo over Sunset Saban at Bama

The Kick 6 hurt....this loss actually didn't. Disappointed but that's about it

Not necessarily the worst losses, but ones that pained me:

The 6-3 loss to Mississippi State in 1980 hurt me as a kid, but the 2014 loss to Ohio State is my all-time worst, because I have a admittedly unhealthy hate for Urban Meyer. frick that POS.

This one didn’t hurt as much as it bewildered. The mistakes we made both on the field and in the booth just blows my mind. We made more mistakes in one game than I’ve seen in Saban’s entire Bama tenure. And the fake field goal wasn’t just dumb, it smacked of panic.

Trevor Lawrence was 8-12 for 240 yards...on 3rd down. We could NOT get off the field and kept giving them opportunity after opportunity. The offense moved the ball, they just got cute and stupid in the red zone. Tua has got to get smarter and quit predetermining every throw. Teams have caught on and are showing him what he wants to see them backing out of it so he’s throwing into the teeth of the defense.

Hard to be really hurt or angry when you get outplayed and outcoached at almost every position. Just one of those nights when everything goes wrong.

I’m not tooting my own horn, but I posted in the preseason that the day would come when Tua was having a WTF game and we would have to lean on the run game to pull us through. That happened last night and we COULD have done that. It might not have gotten us the trophy but we’d have come a helluva lot closer and would have had a chance. Unfortunately the coaches also chose last night to have a WTF game.

I broke my damn glass in my hand over that game. They jumped out on us like 28-3, Jason White tears his ACL and we storm back to take the lead on a fake FG(I think) they retake the lead and we are driving for the win and Tyler pulls a Jameis and they scoop and score. Watts swears he had a guy wide open for a TD.

I was more upset when the cocks beat us in 2010. The arse whipping I witnessed last night was easier to accept.

I'm ready for the basketball game tonight!
