So Where Does This Loss Rank In All-Time Bad Bama Losses?

Last night was awful in every single aspect but I am wondering where this one ranks in the pantheon of Bama's worst losses. Some examples:
2016 Clemson - Despite having on the greatest college defenses of all time, we couldn't extend a couple of series and lost on a questionable pick play
Kick Six - Everyone remembers this kick in the nuts which killed our chance for a three-peat and knocked us out of contention. Still a hyper competitive game lost on one of the biggest fluke plays in college sports.
1989 Iron Bowl Bama was undefeated and already had a date with Miami for the title game. Just one hitch: We had to play AU at JHS for the first time ever. Despite Au being pretty mediocre that year with 3-4 losses, there was no way they were losing that game. That loss knocked the wheels off the season, Bill Curry's tenure, and we limped into the Sugar Bowl deflated for a loss to Miami that was worse than the score indicated.
1973 Bama vs. Notre Dame Sugar Bowl. Thrilling game with 4-5 lead changes. Bama had ND backed up in their endzone on 3rd down when they threw a bomb to get out of there and preserve the win. Old timers will remember and younger crowd can watch on YouTube. Still - this was in the prehistoric days when bowl games were just beginning to matter in terms of National Championships and Bama was already selected as 73 champ. Notre Dame only that year or so agreed to play in bowls.
1972 Orange Bowl In terms of a comparable beatdown you would have to back to 72 when Nebraska shite stomped Bama 38-6. Didn't even score a touchdown
1964 Orange Bowl - Joe Namath comes up a foot short against Texas
We have taken lot of tough regular season losses. Lost some tough games in the SECCG against Spurrier in the 90's. I think you have to go back to 1972 to find a more gut wrenching, humiliating total loss. This one was for all the marbles whereas in 72 the bowl picture and what it meant was still kind of murky. There wasn't a playoff where it was for all straight up winner take all. Even in the aforementioned other losses they were usually close, competitive games. I don't think Bama has ever taken this bad a loss when the stakes have been so high

2010 Iron Bowl will always be #1.

We had two losses that year going into the Iron Bowl so it doesn't make the cut. Sucked but not nearly in the same league with what I am discussing

This one didn’t hurt. I am just disappointed that the coaching staff decided to take a vacation instead of game plan.

Well behind 2010/2013 Iron Bowls. Behind 2016 Clemson. Behind 2008 Florida.
Idk I’m gonna be honest I’m having a hard time being all that upset about this right now

Clemson is the better team and outschemed us - it sucks Bama didn't show up but its not really an all-time bad loss IMO.
I honestly thought I would be way more upset about getting crushed like that, i guess with all the recent success its hard to get too mad.

This one is nowhere near as agonizing as the 2016 game. I actually slept great last night and am at peace with the gape my butt has this morning. Clemson just took us to the woodshed, the only thing I’m bothered by is just how unprepared the defense was. We played defense like a 6-6 Birmingham bowl team.

I'm not even mad. I'm glad it was that bad. Just chalk it up a d hope it gets a fire under everyone's arse for next year. Also hope the coach's learn more than the players. Some self evaluation is definitely in order all the way around.

This one didnt hurt that bad because it was a blowout. I would much rather lose like this than the way we did in 2016

I think we got outcoached. So, to me, it’s been a long time since we’ve been this badly out coached. Tuberville used to out coach us.

As far as the end effect, it matched the '16 Clemson game, and probably near equal the '13 Auburn game, because it took away a championship.
However, as far as the on field result, nothing is close. Not even remotely, except maybe some of the early games of the '00 season where Bama was supposed to be good, but got hammered.

As much as that one sucked, I got over it. We had nothing on the line in that game.
Last night might've been the most disappointing loss in my lifetime. I'd much rather it had been a heartbreaker last minute loss. At least then, we would know it was a 4 quarter game where we didn't quit. Last night we quit. We got emasculated on the biggest stage possible. That's not Alabama Football. Alabama Football doesn't get blown out. It's only happened less than a handful amount of times in the the last few decades. Its in our DNA and part of our mystique. Last night struck right at the heart of that and I don't like it one bit.

Of everything last night that last drive may have been the worst part.
That's the shite we used to do. 10 minute, 97 yards, substituting the entire last 5-6 plays.
I mean........shite.

Exactly how I feel. I don't know why people put the Camback so high up. It sucked but our season was done at that point.
Last night was bad....really bad.....and I think this arguably the worst Bama loss in 46 years I/m/o

I've never understood the Alabama fans that place that loss higher than games that cost us a national championship.
Sure it sucked but it doesn't even come close to being considered on the radar for most painful losses.
The loss last night hurts, but isn't as bad as the kick six (aiming for the 3-peat, and making history) or the worst which was the 2016 loss.

I think reality has failed to set in for some of you guys
2016? We had the lead with 2 minutes to play. We were competitive but they made one more play
Last night we got embarrassed by a true freshman, completely annihilated in every phase of the game with a history - making championship on the line
We didn't even show up, it was easily the worst loss of the Saban era
And the fake FG was the saddest thing I've ever seen, looked like a puppy getting hit by a truck

With Lawrence pounding it down the defenses throat for chunks of yards no less.

Yep. Was able to turn it off before the 4th quarter.
