I thought we might be looking at a 9 or 10 win season. Now, I’m thinking we might be playing in the Birmingham Bowl.

Saban had a golden opportunity to bring in a proven offensive mind yet he settled for a relatively green and subpar OC from Notre Dame who had yet to prove he can properly develop a QB.
This was one of his most critical hires of the Saban era and he botched it. And don't sit there and fricking tell me we'd be having these same issues with a Sark or Kiffin because we wouldn't.
Nothing qualified Rees to be our offensive coordinator. Nothing. I just hope our fans don't spend the next four years defending him as they did with Golding.

In all seriousness. Even making a Bowl game this year is highly questionable.
What did they do in Tuscaloosa the entire off season ?
