One of the passes was a clear throw to stop the clock.

Saban CLEARLY put the brakes on the offense once they were inside the 35.

He was under pressure, and had to throw the ball away. Gary Danielson just said it was as good as clocking the ball since it happened so fast. Throwing the ball three times is an odd way of putting the brakes on.

This is just a feature of Alabama football at this point. There's no solution.

It’s some kind of curse, for sure.

Clearly the answer is to hypnotize Reichart and tell him he is kicking against Alabama. That way he’ll never miss.

This seems to be the case. Wonder if there are any stats or research out there for game winning field goal % against Alabama. Not just to go ahead with a minute or so left, I mean walk-off winning field goal. It's got to be north of 90% right?

WR has missed 4 field goals in the last 3 games.

Could have cost Bama the A&M game. He could have won the Tennessee game.

Not his fault Bama lost to Tennessee, he still could have won it.

Must be nice that every other team Bama plays has a reliable kicker they can depend on.

Will didn't win that game Saturday night, but he certainly didn't lose it either. (He also scored most of our points in the 2Q rally.)

By the way, he's 7/9 on the year on kicks less than 50 yards, and 2/4 on 50+. He's also 40/40 on XP.

I don't think we're in yip territory quite yet.

I don't think he has the Yips. He's kicking solid kicks. Yes he's missed but they are just missing. I trust him to get that dialed in. His misses you the right have had no "draw" - just straight. Let's not forget that Michael Jordan was a 83% career Free throw shooter. Now if will starts flirting with the uprights on PATs instead of piping them down the middle ... Then I would be concerned

Does he? Look at the misses. The ball goes right (not aimed, spins it that way, then comes back left).

I think it’s the angle of the hold, the laces (or most likely both) that’s putting that weird spin on it.

That's the funny thing. They usually don't. These trash kickers just become automatic against us

I've been saying this for years. Teams could trot a one legged kicker out there against us and he would never miss.

Will needs to kick himself out of the slump. Just like shooters in hoops, only way out is to keep shooting. Saban can help him by not letting him kick anything over 40 yards until he hits a few and regains confidence.
