This thread is about tua and jalen. I didnt go into a thread about basketball and make it into a Jalen and tua thread.

good try though?
You say that like you think it's some game and we're scoring points or something.
That's kind of silly.

Oh ok. Sorry about that. Actually, I do agree with you. I don't really get why it continues to be a point of contention. Tua is the starter and Jalen is playing better than he did last year. Maybe because he isn't under as much pressure. Anyhow, I think it's worked out pretty good. I'd like Tua to get more playing time to pad those stats, but on the other hand, he's less likely to be injured when he's on the sideline with the game well in hand.
I said 6 months ago how I thought it would all play out. I said Tua would be the #1 QB, that it became a no brainer on Jan 8th. I also said that I didn't think Jalen would transfer or redshirt before he graduated -- that he'd get to play a lot closing out games as the backup, to continue his development and reduce risk of injury to Tua. I said that makes the most sense for all parties concerned -- team, program, Tua and Jalen. And that's how it has played out.
I've had hardly any interest at all in the ridiculous speculating, overreacting, worrying, debating, etc. that's gone on in the media and on message boards. I've paid attention to what Coach Saban, Tua, Jalen and other players have said and done, instead of the media's and fans' notions about it.

There are people on here who want to argue about everything, think they are always right, and want everyone to agree with them.

That said, you will get your neck wrung on here anytime you suggest Saban should do something that's stupider than a box of week-old hair. That's just the way this board is
I fixed that for you.

Jalen is a great kid, great teammate, mediocre passer, and as far as being part of the "best QB duo in the nation" ......... if he is, it's because Tua is better than anyone else.
So be it!
But the team is stronger with Jalen on it and that is what matters. You have no faith in Jalen because of last year, Well that was last year. Let's see how this year works out. It's obvious Jalen has made improvement. And Saban wants him on the field. That is enough for me.
Our program is better off today than Clemson or OSU because Jalen can come in spell Tua and win games if need be.

It's just my opinion, but this thread should be anchored.

Funky Tide was one of the main guys last year calling everyone an idiot for suggesting that Tua was better than Jalen.
I implore you to find a single post of mine where I called someone an idiot for thinking that Tua is better than Jalen. I'll wait patiently. Thanks.

If I'm a loudmouth then what the frick does that make you?
And "clout?" Is that what you think that I seek by participating on this board? Do you think that you have "clout" in here? What a weird thing to express.
