There is absolutely no flow to his offense. We can go on long droughts where we just don't do shite at all. Hell, we go on long droughts that last nearly half of the season, which I fear is going to happen again this season.

I was wrong.
I don't say that often, because I'm not wrong often, but I was really really wrong.
I thought Grubb was a good hire. I defended him the first 5 ballgames of the season.
I'm out.
I deserve all the hate for trying to defend him. Let me have it.

He's going to be what holds everything back. DeBoer has to make a decision after the season. If he can get the offense fixed via a new OC, this team is a national title contender. They're that close. But it's up to him if he wants to fix the problem, or go down with him. Major inconsistencies are always going to be a thing as long as Grubb is running the show.
