Honestly after a day’s reflection? I think everyone believed the press clippings about our supposedly magnificent defense and when, after we scored, Florida State came out and punched that supposedly magnificent defense in the mouth and went through them like a dose of X-Lax everyone connected with our team, from the sidelines to the press box, got discombobulated. Because that wasn’t supposed to happen.

Are you willing to lose the amount of money you'll lose by not firing him? Money works on different fronts and by keeping him you can guarantee attendance to games will drop, donations coming into the program will drop, and other revenue streams will start to drop.

I get it. Alabama doesn’t have $70 million lying around and can’t afford to fire him. The problem is Alabama can’t afford not to fire him. If we wait 2-3 years before we pull the trigger, this program will be at the same point as when Coach Bryant took over for Ears Whitworth after a 2-7-1 season. And in the NIL era, that means having to pay more for players, having less revenue coming in to the athletic department to pay them, less money for facilities, and a higher price for his successor to take over a dumpster fire. So which one can we afford less?

If you go back and watch the first drive, it was difficult. There was no single play that was clean and looked good.

While I 100% agree with your sentiment, the player who said this was standing on the sidelines helplessly watching like all the rest of us.
Not saying we would have won with DKIII, but who knows, maybe we don’t give up 200+ rushing yards and 31 points if he was available. So I’m not going to fault him…now, coaching staff on the other hand, absolutely embarrassing.
