Right now I'm only using Firestick TV for streaming.

OK, you can get so many Live TV options by installing Mobdro, Live NetTV, and Swiftstreamz. However, they are not really HD a lot of the time. They are usually reliable, though.

If you put KODI on that firestick, you'd open up a whole world of stuff. Lots and lots and lots of options, some in HD for sure. If you want some recommendations for a few addons to try, let me know.

For movies and TV shows (Netflix replacement and better), install Terrarium TV.

EDIT: IF you install Kodi, there even options to pull streams off of r/cfbstreams on reddit.

REMEMBER: a Firestick needs a GREAT signal from the wifi.

To anyone installing stuff on a Firestick:

Search for (magnifying glass icon on home screen) and install the program "Downloader" to the stick.

Open Downloader and navigate to google. Save Google to your favorites.

Use google to search for whatever you want. For example, "terrarium tv". Look for a good link to download what you want. (It's frequently good to include "apk" as part of your google search. "Apk" is the file type for an Android program.) BE VERY CAREFUL WHERE YOU DOWNLOAD STUFF. Lots of crap out there. (apkmirror is always good for quality files.)

Got to whichever website, click on and download the appropriate .apk file. The file will be saved to the "download" folder on your firestick harddrive.

Install the apk.

After installing, you can delete the downloaded file if you want. I prefer to keep them. They are quite small.

Enjoy.

PS: To anyone looking for a file manager for a firestick, ES File Explorer works great.

And TvTap. That's a really good one.

Thanks a lot for this thread. Some of us don't have the ability to watch the games the way most of you do. I spent the entire 2014 season watching via yahoo gamecast. Never once that season watching any live action.

Last year my reddit stream went down with 2 minutes to go in the 4th quarter of the National Championship game. My buddy had to type to me live what was happening on FB while I attempted to get the stream back up, which I didn't get to see the final play until about an hour later on youtube.

So cheers for all these new sites that I have never heard of. Hopefully can get some of them to work.
