I played QB from pee wee to high school and at Livingston and I am afraid Jalen has the same confidence issue that I had in that he is so afraid he will F up thus he hesitates before throwing time and time again. Unless the staff can design passing plays that have open and I mean open receivers then we're where we will be in 2 more years with Jalen. He is a winner but will never be an elite passer.
Roll the kid out and help him be more successful if you're going to stick with him. ....we need a much quicker RB in the game on passing downs for Jalen to dump out to. Hell put Diggs in the backfield. I wonder if Daboll has watched film of how the Pats use a 200 lb RB as the main receiver.........wait

Daboll has to work with the players we have which came up in Kiffin's offense. I liked Kiffin personally, but we never threw to the TE -they like the TE a lot in NE so I'm sure we will see his offense evolve - hopefully in the coming playoff game and certainly next season.
Just saying that because a lot of people seem to have written him off already.

When did you play at Livingston? Originally from Greene County, and my uncle played there in the 70's

68....Coach Higgenboatham was the HC with Mickey Andrews and Charlie Stephens were assistants.

Always cheered for FSU when they had Mickey Andrews because of that

I think Jalen will start for sure, and like someone else stated, if he starts to struggle they'll put Tua in.
In the past NS has never showed favoritism towards seniority, meaning typically the better players play. It's just hard to say that Tua is better than Jalen based off a couple of 3rd and 4th quarter games against below average opponents.
Personally, I'd like to see Tua.

Well I think the main stat the coaches are concerned with is interceptions. I think with last years defense Tua would possibly be starting but this years defense can't take that stress.

I don't think you even read what I wrote. I said he would play and I'm not sure in what capacity or what it looks like. I'm a big Jalen supporter. I was just relaying info from inside the program.
Edit: just so we're clear that isn't my opinion that's just relaying info.

Should that transpire, it wouldn't even counter what he proposed in his post. Do you even know what you are getting mad about or are you just blindly lashing out?

ULM did have two QB’s in the game. The running QB took the snap, then had the option of a lateral to the passing QB or running.
It was a fun offense to watch.

These board is split on Jalen support but other boards like on Reddit, it’s way different. Many of them think very highly of him and some are even arguing he could be an NFL QB.

If you looked at this forum before Auburn you'd find the same thing.
