Who the hell deserves a raise from the bunch of 22 we had out there this year?

Carroll and Lottie clearly got one to "re-sign". I imagine Dijon Lee got a better deal. Probably some others.

You can debate it but I’d be willing to bet that each of the following will absolutely get a bump:

Brooks
Carroll
Pierre
Hubbard
Brown
Hill
Lee

That’s fair, as I typed that I thought of Carroll, lotty, and Hubbard.

Probably Simmons too considering he was about the lowest recruit in last years class. I’m sure he will get a bump

I could strongly debate hill. I think he is a dude, but if we are going to treat them like pros, we need to start viewing these positional groups as pro. And RB is one of those groups in the pros that simply don’t get paid like the OL, DL and QB

I’m talking about Justin Hill.

Fun fact; I hosted a D1 running backs coach in my home tonight for my nephew. Hearing him talk about the NIL; from their perspective it is even more of disaster. He was a service academy coach and they don’t do NIL. Makes me love service academy’s teams more.

Eh, I didn’t make it clear. I actually totally agree that none of our RBs really justify a bump. There is a reason we got Smothers.

A few good wins, but still got work to do. LSU is just the pretty new girl on the block.

Less concerned with Ross than I am getting big bodies on the OL and DL. That’s where you win games.

It’s possible this is dramatic, but I think this portal season is Deboers future at Bama. If he doesn’t get this right, and right the ship, he is in trouble. He doesn’t get another year like this in my opinion.

I’ve been saying this and people attacked me for it. DeBoer is fighting an uphill battle right now following Saban.

He will totally get another year after 2026 if he goes 11-4, makes the SECCG, and wins a first round playoff game again.

However, we need an OT that has starter potential, two more WRs, another LB, and another DL imo.

If he goes 8-4 he still coming back for 2027.

Quickest way to set the program on fire is to start running through coaches becomes they don’t live up to Saban.

This is fair, without us getting blown out. We can handle making the playoffs as a fan base; and losing some games. I think if we get blown out, even in the championship or playoffs he is done.

Firing a coach who made the playoff in back to back seasons would be the dumbest thing you could possibly do.

I’m not saying I disagree, but fan bases lash out and it happens. See penn state
