When Jefferson and Lawson are your standards then you might need to upgrade the standard.
I wouldn't say they're the standard of anything but they do indicate an archetype for the player personnel. Frankly, Lawson is probably less likely to be a template for this scheme. Jefferson more so but undersized. They want guys like Campbell (to pull from our roster) or Whit Weeks (another current player on another roster). 230-ish with a high motor and good sideline to sideline mobility.

LSU is going to spend like drunken sailors so Kiffin can get some PR "wins" starting out.

Mod on another site says aTm offered Formby $1.7 mil.

If he's coachable, he may go somewhere else and be a solid power conference offensive guard. Based on people like Brooks Austin breaking down our OL, I would say we are a poorly coached unit.

May have been posted already, but Jimmy Stein was saying Cam Coleman is visiting today. He’s predicting Texas or A&M for his landing spot though

Don’t need Brooks Austin to tell you that.

I hate to see Keeley leaving.
It shouldn't be surprising, though. There's no guarantee he'd start next year. DL are coveted and he'll get overpaid by a team that is desperate for DL help. He isn't going to be worth what the open market gives him. Don't forget, for 2.5 years most people forgot he was still on the team.

He'll probably end up winning a title at Ohio St next year.

I can't imagine OSU dropping a bag for a massive underachiever. They'll go after a more proven DL.

He’s very good, make no mistake but I’d rather spend money in the trenches.
We need some smart tough 3rd and 4th year players to get some strength and brains where it matters most

I agree. I’m honestly surprised he’s visiting. We need lineman…and coaching. Any of those in the portal?

Are you guys not entertained? This is why this will continue. People continue to talk about college football.

To borrow something from Coach O:
Ray Charles could see that this OL is poorly coached

Another site I visit says LSU is trying to get Formby as well. The dollar figure given for A&M is legit.

We reportedly made an offer in the same ballpark.
Posted on 1/4/26 at 3:12 pm to Crimson Wraith
He reportedly wants to play OT, not G.
Posted on 1/4/26 at 3:15 pm to Crimson Wraith
That is amazing if true. He is beat from the snap.
Posted on 1/4/26 at 3:22 pm to JoseyWalesTheOutlaw
Some of these schools may make offers without ever intending to sign the player, i.e., making us pay more to keep a player.

RB Raleek Brown is visiting on Tuesday.
