I think Jan.1 will be Golding's last game as Bama's DC/ILB coach.

I am much interested in what Nick Saban does after the this bowl game is in the history books. No way he plays this same hand for the 2020 season (on defense). Beside Nick made this mess two years ago and this season is result of the Tosh mistake.

It’s as though some of you have forgotten that some of our young guys were making the same mistakes in the Iron Bowl as they were making against Duke. They showed little improvement. That’s on Golding.

And the thing you are missing is that there wasn't film in these kids when we played Duke. Also not to mention its Duke. So the plays that our younger guys could make against the talent at Duke is not going to work against an SEC school. They never saw an offense like AU before.

And they played seven SEC games before playing Auburn, and continued to make fundamental mistakes in each game all the way through the Iron Bowl. Golding is also inside linebackers coach, so he’s responsible for those guys development, and the lack thereof.

Seven SEC games vs the normal 3 years in the program before playing significant time.

Yep, totally the same thing.

Btw, if you think they weren't setting the edge better at the end of the year, then you weren't paying attention.

I didn’t say I think they should’ve been playing like All-Americans, but the middle linebackers were still making mistakes that someone with a full season of experience shouldn’t be making.

Based on what?

When was the last time we've ever seen this situation to make such definitive statements on the topic?

He was bumbling and stumbling his way through an interview. First two minutes of the interview he couldn’t complete a coherent statement. Are we really wondering why our guys were lost? Taking direction from mumbling joe.

From what I’m hearing and I’m livid is we have struck out on anyone worth a shite. He may be staying and I don’t like it.

Once again for the 100th time, what experienced DC wants to come when he has to run someone else's defense and not really be in control. It's why we keep cycling through young coaches on D.

I’m starting to come around on Golding. I get everyone wants him fired, I certainly would not mind change also. I just wonder if we did not deal with injuries and the Anoma situation, how much better would the defense would have looked?

Piss on that! Promote Sunseri then. He sucked at Tennessee but he was playing with hot garbage. At least here he will have guys recruited to the system.

I'm fine with Golding coming back. I'm not sold on him, but I think it is reasonable to give him a full deck next year to work with and another year of experience.

We can't just get a new coordinator every year.

If we find someone worth a shite he absolutely is. Problem is, the field is littered with morons.

I’ve been around Golding he is lazy and goofy. Tidal made a good point to me, it’s almost like the team has taken on his personality.

Let's hear some names on those we supposedly struck out on if this is true.

See above, I don't believe you. Let's hear some names we struck out on.
