Anyone know how a group of Native Americans with no bulldozers or no modernized technology were able to build those damn things??

I was at Bama 83-88. Wings and things was originally beside Alabama book store before moving to near the gas station. It was owned by Baumhower and another guy (assume Phil?).

The fact that they deliver (at least when I was in school) really late also helped.

There's no telling how much them and Domino's made off of me and my buddies back in 04-08

Yeah, Baumhower and Phil Weaver had Wings N Things together. Phil wanted to do his own thing and started Buffalo Phil's. Had forgotten he got the old Wings n Things spot down by the book store, but that would make sense. I guess that's when Baumhower turned his into a full service restaurant rather than quick service. Or maybe Wings N Things was always full service. I don't recall ever eating there.

Wings and things was not full service. You ordered at the counter and they brought your food out. On your own after that. They also didn’t have a very big menu. I remember the chicken wings, fries, and a burger called “Farmer Brown”. Maybe had a few other items that I can’t remember.

I’m still mourning the loss of Tuts. I was in ttown this weekend and it was sad seeing all the old bars and restaurants gone from the strip. RIP Cheap Shots
