Commander Data

I feel better actually. Blood saturation at 93 and the doctor said my lungs don't look good at all but that's what happens when you smoke for twenty years. He said he doesn't think the disease made them that much worse. So bad news I guess but that was already going to be the case so I am not freaking out over the report. I am happy and excited. If the numbers continue to climb then I will be out of this bitch soon. One thing I can honestly say is that if I make it home and it looks like I certainly will, it would have been worth getting sick just to get off the smokes. The nurse has been giving me a nicotine patch every morning so that helps but I never entertained using them before I was hospitalized and just couldn't smoke. I think not smoking all these days has contributed to getting better. I am done. Never really even cared to quit before this happened so I never tried. The hospital as made it to where I had no choice. The first three days I could have killed for a smoke and now I don't even think about it.

He is posting pretty regularly in the Rant OT COVID thread.

Whoa, that's big! Hopefully it will gain approval and result in some major improvements.

Walmart is sending infrared thermometers to all of its stores nationwide to take employees' temperatures as they report to work. The chain is also sending masks and gloves to its stores for employees to use. The masks and gloves will arrive in one to two weeks, while it could take up to three weeks to get the thermometers out, officials said.

Interesting that APDH has added a “reported deaths” section in addition to the confirmed deaths section.

Josh Moon is not an al.com reporter. He works for Bill Britt which used to be a wholly owned subsidiary of Milton McGregor. You cannot trust a single word he writes.

Either with AL.com or the Montgomery Advertiser. Can't remember which.

And I haven't seen anything to suggest that his tweet from 3 WEEKS ago was incorrect.

It does me a lot of good to see you guys ask about me and to see the obvious concern you have. I am gonna try real hard not to be a jerk when the quarterback controversy kicks in to full gear. Heck, right now I just hope there is a season for us to argue about.

My condition is slowly improving more and more each day. I am no longer having anxiety about taking a turn for the worse. Its obvious that I am going to get to go home soon (knocks on wood).
