Even one of those incidents is really unheard of in Greenville. To have three happen in a couple of days is certainly strange.

I grew up in Greenville, was in school with Dexter. I don't know if I should be proud of that or embarrassed.

A GoTriangle bus driver who operated a bus from March 18 to 20 while experiencing coronavirus symptoms has tested positive for the virus, officials said.

The driver was on Route 300, which travels between the Regional Transit Center, the Cary train station and the GoRaleigh station, and Route 305, which travels between Apex at Lake Pine Drive and Waverly Place and the GoRaleigh station, from 5:25 to 9:35 a.m. and from 3:05 to 7 p.m. on those dates.

"Because the bus driver came to work for three days while symptomatic, it’s possible bus riders or other GoTriangle employees were exposed to the virus," Wake County Medical Director Dr. Kim McDonald said in a statement. "The fluid nature of transit makes it impossible to determine who may have had close contact with the driver, so we’ve set up a hotline for concerned residents to call for guidance."

He's too stupid to be driving a bus.

They are going to have to start prosecuting people who do this. That might be easier said than done, but something has to be done

His route was in two of the biggest areas of Wake County(Raleigh) No telling who all those people had contact with and it was before stay at orders were issued.

Lot's of people could be infected because of him still going to work and driving a bus knowing he had coronavirus symptoms. Pretty dumb, and pretty inexcusable.

Probably wouldn’t be a problem if we were a country that took care of employees. He probably went to work because he had limited paid sick time, if any at all, and couldn’t survive without a paycheck.

I could care less about someone's politics or their political opinion but trying to justify risking the lives of others for money is inexcusable.

He should move to a better country. Great thing about America, you can leave whenever you want, or just sit behind a keyboard and cry about it all day. Thanks to the USA, we have options

No idea of the validity of this, but if the local police were motivated enough to get off their arse and shoot a few warning shots to scare off some assholes surfers, I'm cool with it.

In this country, a policeman makes about $700/month and is super lazy. And it's fantastic. The crime rate is super low overall and the cops don't mess with regular folks. By law, the cops have their lights on all the time. They are there to help, not hide and act like Jethro Bond from an unmarked car.

Granted, there are massive amounts of security guards literally at every commercial center, condo, residential area, etc. But the cops being chillax is one of the best aspects of not being in the US.

And yeah, if they fired warning shots on some beach, so be it. And the article clearly maintains they were warning shots. The surf gets up and so does the wind, and the human voice doesn't carry through that. The shots were for audible purposes, not piercing purposes.

Are you insinuating that only the US has basic freedoms? I don't want to get into anything with you on it, but I promise you that lots and lots of countries provide their citizens with the same freedoms, and some go further.

Contrary to popular belief and 80s movies, outside US soil isn't rampant totalitarianism.

If I misread you, my apologies. I've just had a few bourbons and am frisky. Wife is studying and I'm waiting on my boy to call to talk football. I mean no insult in any way.

Basically, what I was saying, is that if you aren’t happy in America, you are free to leave and go to another place that may fit you better.
