He asked about King Mwikita in the football thread yesterday.

Fort Stewart, Fort Gordon, and Joint Base Langley-Eustis are also deploying units as well

I might have to "deploy" soon if the AF decides to stand up a field hospital.

Big new order coming down from the state. Has a list of non-essential businesses that must close through April 17th. Read it here:

Does these field hospitals have ventilators? Seems that this is the major problem with this virus, not enough of them to help the critically ill.

New York City has bought 45 refrigerated truck trailers – each capable of holding as many as 44 bodies -- in case city morgues and hospitals become overwhelmed with the number of dead from the coronavirus. With the addition of refrigerated tents, the city will have the capacity to hold as many as 3,600 bodies, a city official said.

My gosh, this is going to hurt folks. I guess it’s needed, but I feel bad for the employees

That's the same basic places that Birmingham and Jeffco ordered to close last week.

Do I need to shut down my two house framing crews?
There's no way for them to stay 6' apart.

Kind of joking/kind of serious but it figures that the year our refs get a massive raise, the first month almost gets completely rained out, and the rest of the season gets cancelled because of a pandemic.

Just order them to wear dust masks when they're within 6 feet of each other.

I’d make them come and shut me down I guess. Doesn’t seem like it’s listed

The AF has ventilators all over the world in War Reserve Material warehouses.

Gunter.

I train other active duty personnel how to set up medical networks for contingency and humanitarian hospitals.

The problem is almost all of the people I train have never had to actually set the system up from scratch. I have dozens of times.

ETA: There is a huge difference between deployed medical networks and garrison facilities. Some of these people have never seen the stuff before and may never see it over a 20 year career.
