Officiating....
The only way to fix officiating in this conference, or college football as a whole, is to pay them well enough to make it their sole job.
Have them attend training events/review film/collaborate between crews Monday through Friday during the season and standardize the way they call games.

Georgia then got a ticky tack PI call on a flat route to the RB in the same spot where Lawson had a slight tug of the jersey on #32...on 4th down, on a terribly thrown ball that had no chance of being caught for a first down. I feel like in the second half they let Georgia play and tightened the whistle on us. I don't think it was some conspiracy to let them back into the game for viewer purposes as much as human nature- but the strike zone needs to stay the same for both teams. If it's going to get wider then it needs to stay wide for everyone

DeBoer was a mad man on the sidelines after that no call. Idk how long the TV broadcast showed but he was going at the refs for over a good minute maybe two. Then went back to them later on.
We noticed that too. Dude was having a complete meltdown and rightfully so.

It is absolutely insane that we have a multi-billion dollar sport officiated by part-time hobbyists.

I don’t think that would improve it at all. You still have to make quick decisions in the blink of an eye, rely on less than perfect camera angles, etc.
Perhaps expanded application for the use of a challenge flag by the HC for something as aggregious as the non DPI could be of some use. That was like stealing or obvious OOB. Any angle was clear that was DPI.
