World of Beer is finally open. I'll check it out when I'm in town, but I still might keep going to Cravings.

I honestly don't think we have the market for a WOB. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see people going there instead of Loosa.
Cravings is a great spot to grab a beer to start the night or before a concert at the amp. Hope they stay open. The owner has yet to find success in Tuscaloosa after T Burger (Burger U), New Orleans Fry House, and The Kitchen have all closed.

Went last Friday. Pretty nice. It is a better version of Brass Tap imo.

Yeah Cravings has always been my main spot to grab some beer for the weekend. Hate that I don't live in town anymore, but seems like they're being really aggressive to get some business on social media.

New form of transportation showed up today across town and campus. You may have seen Bird scooters or similar in other towns to rent. They are everywhere and cheap. I enjoyed them in SD.

Went to the Bacon Brew and Cue on Saturday. Still pretty fun event to attend. Heard there was going to be a Druid City Music Festival next year, which sounds awesome.

Oct 7th is the Chili Cookoff downtown.
New oyster place is opening where Glory Bound used to be.
Bryant Bank construction looks good. Continue working on density.
What is being built next to Cadence bank on University?

I am coming into town with my wife and potentially my two year old daughter for the Citidal game. I only bought two tickets because I didn’t plan on being my daughter, but plans may change. So, anyone out there willing to “trade” or tell me how to pick up another ticket. She can just sit in our laps in the seats we bought.

There will be cheap tickets everywhere outside the stadium for that game. The closer to kickoff you get, the cheaper they will be.

Anyone going to Oktober Fest in T-Town? Debating on whether to make the trip, or go to the Greek Fest here in Bham.

So, I am looking at hotels to stay at for the game. How bad is the La Quinta on McFarland? It would be my wife, 2 year old, and me. Is there any other recommendations? Not too expensive.

Haven't posted on here in a while, but I haven't been to T-Town lately. Anything fun going on? Saw that Mellow Mushroom is finally coming back.

I guess putting this thread here killed it. I always kind of liked to check it but I never posted much.
Any new places to check out? I tried the River for brunch in the fall. Was good.

been a minute without many posts...
In the spirit of this thread, I will cast a vote for Dreamland >>> Archibald's
(I like the thicker tomato based sauce over the vinegary sauce) but my wife got to try it this time with me and she also liked Dreamland better.

Roots Fest this Saturday at Government Plaza. Free event with great live music. This was an awesome event last year and I expect the same this year.

Brass Tap closed. Kind of liked that place. There were talks about Tuscaloosa getting a Walk On's
