Saw they demolished that old a daycare center on University. Any idea what will happen there?

I've been to Pho Town in Midtown Village twice already. If you haven't been yet, I highly recommend. I've only had the pho, but it was very good. I've seen other items such as ramen, clay pots, etc get taken to other tables and it all looked good.

Any reason the development has kind of slowed down? Recent news about the downtown garage not happening, no word on the new grocery store near the amphitheater, and Allied Reality hasn't started on their big project on Temerson Square yet.

Not sure, but they are doing a lot of road construction near Greensboro and Jack Warner which could be prep for the new grocery store there.

Don't have any pics, but I liked it. Wasn't the best sushi, but it's still good.

I got to thinking the other day about places around town that I missed. Two examples: The Chukker and the original Houndstooth. Never had a bad time at the Chukker. And as a local and a student, spent a lot of time at the original Houndstooth. The “new” one cant hold a candle to it.

We really need another downtown parking garage, and one near Temerson Square. I hate that the one planned fell through, but I'm hoping if they do it again, they include one with plans of having a restaurant or bar in the bottom.
